This site is an online resource for Dramatic Arts students.
The challenge for teachers in the online world is to engage you and light the fires of imagination and exploration, and I hope this site hits the mark.

The Collegiate Academy at Leto High School 813.872.5300 Home ABOUT FUTURE STUDENTS CURRENT STUDENTS Transportation. Bus transportation is provided to all. New and/or updated bus registrations could take 3 to 5 days to process. Bus ID's are required to ride the School Bus. If the student has been admitted to the Collegiate Academy program and is not zoned for Armwood High School, transportation is limited (as indicated on the magnet application). Mr.MacGibeny
6th Grade Math & Science
Mr. Mac teaches 6th grade Math and Science and has been with GSOTA for 1 year! After school, he leads the Fishing Club and the Garden Club. Before GSOTA, Mr Mac worked as an aquatic biologist in Baltimore, Maryland. His favorite fish is the striped bass and he loves to talk about the ocean. He is passionate about educating students on the natural world around them and connecting data with reasoning. In his free time, he enjoys spending time outdoors in the ocean snorkeling, surfing, playing volleyball and soccer.MRs. O'Brien
6th - 8th Grade ELA
The poet Robert Frost once said, 'I am not a teacher, but an awakener,' and awakening students to the world around them through reading novels, analyzing poetry and reenacting Shakespeare plays is what Mrs. O'Brien aims to do. Having moved from Maryland in 2013 and joining the GSOTA family in 2016, she is very passionate about all things ELA and is always striving to find ways to connect literature and writing into real life applications. Mrs. O'Brien holds Dual Bachelor's Degrees in Psychology and Communication Arts from Salisbury University as well as a M.S. in Psychology from Walden University. She is also a Level 2 Google Certified Educator and is pursuing Google Trainer/Coach and ISTE certifications this Spring.In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband, two sons (also GSOTA students), critters (beagles Amelia and Harper and cats Gryffin and Brutus), reading, traveling, learning new techie tools, and most of all..napping.
Dr. Ketcher
6th - 8th History
Daniel Ketcher has been teaching World History, Civics, and U.S. History for eight years at GSOTA. It is the only school where he has taught, and he loves the close-knit community atmosphere. He is very passionate about the subjects he teaches, as well as helping every student reach their highest potential. What he likes most about teaching, is when students ask questions or give comments that are very insightful, and that he hadn't thought about before. He also loves helping students progress from their first encounter with a subject or period, to deep levels of mastery and understanding. He earned his B.A. in International Relations, European Studies, and German. He then completed his M.A. in Philosophical Studies, and finally a Juris Doctorate in Law. He enjoys exercise, music, reading, and cooking in his free time.Ms. Lee
7th - 8th Grade Math
Ms. Lee has loved mathematics for as long as she can remember and is passionate about teaching mathematics to her students. It is her hope that her students will learn to love mathematics as much as she does. During her teaching career she has taught Algebra 2, Geometry, Algebra 1, Pre-Algebra, and 7th Grade Math and is currently pursuing a masters degree in Mathematics Education. She is a proud parent of two GSOTA students and enjoys taking her children to the beach, pool, and museums. Mrs. Rothenberg
7th - 8th Grade Science
This is Mrs. Rothenberg’s first year at GSOTA, and she teaches 7th and 8th grade science. She is thrilled to be here and loves sharing her passion for science and the natural world with her students. Prior to GSOTA, Mrs. Rothenberg previously taught 7th grade science and has also worked as an environmental consultant. Mrs. Rothenberg is a South Florida native, and in her free time, she enjoys RV’ing with her family and two dogs, snorkeling, spending time at the beach, and horseback riding.Mrs. Chroniak

Technology Arts
Originally from Indianapolis, Mrs. Chroniak has lived in sunny Florida for over 8 years. She enjoys the warm weather by spending time outside running, biking and spending time relaxing at the beach. Just as much as she loves outdoor activities, she also enjoys being indoors watching anime with her two children, playing video games on her raspberry pi or just relaxing with a cup of coffee. Over the summer, Mrs. Chroniak worked on her computer science certification and has really enjoyed learning more about her craft as a tech arts teacher. Mrs. Chroniak has been at GSOTA for many years and truly enjoys her job as the Tech Arts teacher. She has a true passion for computer science and business related learning as these are not only essential skills but open up possibilities for a future career.
